Everyday I am amazed at the way I love this little guy. I want to protect him and keep him safe from all of the evil of the world. I wonder, has anyone achieved this? I know that this is my prayer minute by minute...but has anyone really been able to keep their children safe from what the world has to offer? And if they did, how did they do it?

I just wanted to say thanks for the comment you left for me. I'm starting to understand some things- like how BIG God is. How he knows what it takes to get people to face him again. How the story is about HIM and he gets the glory in the end. His Word does not return void.
Anyway, thanks again for the encouragement. My son is 2 in October now. He did his first painting yesterday and I took probably 100 pictures in the space of 1/2 an hour. lol. How old is your son?
Hey Amber,
Your so right, he is a big God. Big enough to handle us questioning him, and being angry. I think that when we focus on Christ being the center of OUR story, that's when we can fully understand how huge He is. It's so hard though..to turn over our thoughts and let him be the central focus of that running conversation we have in our heads.
My son turned 2 in April. He is so fantastic that it's crazy!! I totally get taking the 100 pictures. Sometimes when I get the C.D. with the pictures back I have to laugh..especially when I see I've taken 26 pictures of him standing by the sink, playing with the bubbles!
